ICJ Kenya recognizes paralegals in promotion of access to justice

The Kenyan Section of the International Commission of Jurists, ICJ Kenya, recognised their paralegals that have been integral in the promotion of access to justice at the grassroots on Friday, December 10, 2021.

In celebration of the International Human Rights Day and the Jurist of the Year Award (JOYA), ICJ Kenya spotlighted the work and achievements of the networks in the past years.

We continue to coordinate and support paralegal networks drawn from Trans Mara, Meru, Laikipia, Kwale, Taita Taveta and Kitui counties.

ICJ Kenya is also currently working on simplified versions of specific laws such as the laws on conveyancing, succession, marriage, land, labour, criminal procedure and civil procedure that will be beneficial to paralegals in solving the issues at the grassroots.
